Dr. Keirsten Moore is a Professor in the Business Program at Capital University and currently serves as the Interim Vice President and Provost. She holds a Ph.D. and Master of Labor and Human Resources (MLHR) from The Ohio State University, and a B.S. from Miami University. Her academic expertise focuses on Organizational Behavior, Leadership, and Human Resource Management.
Dr. Moore's research centers on leader perceptions of business climates, notably through her annual Central Ohio CEO Survey conducted with Columbus CEO magazine. This work analyzes executive perspectives on economic trends, labor challenges, and leadership dynamics. Her broader scholarship includes studies on workaholism, self-managed teams, and business education assessment.
She received the 2008 Capital University Cotterman Award for Outstanding Advising for mentoring students in academic and career development. Her teaching portfolio includes:
