Kaylee Burke is an Associate Professor of Practice at Simmons University's School of Nursing. She holds a B.A. in English from Fordham University, a B.S. from Simmons University (2011), and an M.S. in Nursing from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine (2018). Licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, she holds certifications from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Board of Certification in Emergency Nursing, and Pediatric Nurse Certification Board.
Her research focuses on:
- Holistic/integrative healthcare
- Mental health promotion
- Nurses' rights
Professor Burke teaches courses including FNP II Primary Care Nursing, FNP III Primary Care Nursing, Advanced Health Assessment, and Healthcare Informatics. She serves as simulation coordinator for Nursing@Simmons immersion weekends, working with both online and on-campus graduate students.
