Katy Sindall is a Lecturer in Criminology at the University of Southampton's Department of Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology. She holds a BSc in Sociology and Social Research, MSc in Social Research Methods, and a PhD in quantitative criminology (funded by the ESRC). Her research focuses on public perceptions of policing, crime victimisation (especially among children), and advanced quantitative methods. She has collaborated on ESRC-funded projects like the National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM) and contributed to modules such as CRIM1005 and SOCI2020.
