Katrina McDonald is a Senior Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University's Faculty of Science and Engineering, specializing in Sport and Exercise Sciences. She actively combines academic teaching with practical coaching roles, leading modules focused on sports development, coaching ethics, and applied coaching methodologies.
- Teaches modules: Sports Development, Planning in Sport, Research Methods, Coaching and Behaviour, Effective and Ethical Coaching, Applied Coaching, Long Term Athlete Development
- Coaches university judo team and develops judo opportunities
Research Focus: Katrina's research centers on coaching practices, athlete education, and sports development, with strong affiliations to the Cambridge Centre for Sport and Exercise Sciences and the British Judo Association.
