Katrina Lewis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Interior Architecture and Industrial Design at Kansas State University's College of Architecture, Planning and Design. She has been a dedicated faculty member since 2001 and currently serves as the Director of the Environmental Design Studies Program and the Director of International Programs for the college.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Interior Architecture (1998) and a Master of Regional and Community Planning (2001), both from Kansas State University.
Lewis’ scholarly work centers on innovative teaching methodologies, particularly for beginning design students, and the integration of international experiences into design education. She is deeply committed to exploring the connections between design and social justice, a focus strengthened by her experience as a Rotary Peace Fellow in 2012 at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
