Dr. Katrina T. Greene is an Associate Professor of Anthropology and Intercultural Studies at Biola University's Talbot School of Theology, where she also serves as Program Director for the Doctor of Intercultural Studies program. Her research focuses on socio-cultural dynamics in post-apartheid South Africa, particularly Black township women's entrepreneurship and community development. She holds a Ph.D. from American University and a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University.

Research Interests
Dr. Greene investigates economic anthropology, gender dynamics, and community development through long-term fieldwork in Cape Town's black townships. Her work explores how Black women navigate entrepreneurship and cultural values like Ubuntu in post-apartheid contexts. She has published extensively on topics such as township tourism, savings collectives, and the intersection of gender and economic empowerment.
