Prof. Dr. Katrin Weller is a leading scholar in computational social science and research data management. She holds the Professorship for Research Data Management in the Social Sciences at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (since 2024) and serves as Scientific Director of the Data Services for the Social Sciences department at GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences. Her career includes co-leading the Research Data and Methods team at the Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS) (2021-2023) and heading GESIS's Digital Society Observatory team (2015-2024).
