Katrin Lisa Lingenhel

Katrin Lisa Lingenhel is a Researcher at the Department of Marketing and International Management, Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt (AAU). She holds degrees including BSc, BA, and MSc. Her research focuses on agent-based modeling and simulation in management and economics, exploring opportunities, challenges, and prospects in this domain. She actively participates in academic clusters, conferences, and workshops, including the 'Agent-based models and social interactions' cluster and the Second Conference on Zero/Minimal Intelligence Agents. She is also involved in organizing streams such as 'Agent-based simulation in business and economics' at EURO2019 and tracks on heterogeneous economic agents at SSC2021.

Her work bridges theoretical and practical dimensions, with contributions to computational economics and management science. She coordinates research initiatives and collaborates with international partner universities through AAU's academic networks. Lingenhel is part of the academic team in the Department of Marketing and International Management, contributing to course development and supervising practice semesters, bachelor’s/master’s theses, and doctoral research.
