Anna Aschbacher

Anna Aschbacher is a University Assistant (PhD Candidate) at the Department of Marketing and International Management at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt. Her research focuses on agent-based modeling and simulation in management and economics, addressing opportunities, challenges, and prospects in this field. She actively participates in academic clusters and conferences, including the 'Cluster on “Agent-based models and social interactions”' and the Second Conference on Zero/Minimal Intelligence Agents. Her work intersects computational economics, strategic management, and complex adaptive systems approaches.

She is involved in organizing streams such as 'Agent-based simulation in business and economics' at EURO2019 and tracks on 'Heterogeneous and diverse economic agents' at SSC2021. Aschbacher contributes to teaching through courses in the International Management program and supervises bachelor’s/master’s theses. She collaborates with international partner universities and engages in practice-based research projects.
