Prof. Dr. Katrin Berndt is Professor of English Literature and Culture at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg (Faculty of Philosophy II). A former fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (University of Edinburgh), she specializes in British literature from multiple historical periods, postcolonial African/Canadian writing, and interdisciplinary intersections between literature, philosophy, and cultural studies.
