Katie Steele is a Professor in the School of Philosophy at the Australian National University (ANU), where she holds an ANU Futures Scheme grant. She previously served at the London School of Economics (2008–2016) and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Sydney's Australian Centre of Excellence for Risk Analysis. Her roles include co-editing Economics & Philosophy and co-investigator on major grants like the 'Ethics and Risk' ARC Discovery Project and the 'Climate Change and Future Generations' grant.
