Katie Smith is an Associate Professor of Sport Science and Health Education at Simpson College, specializing in women’s health and prenatal lifestyle interventions. She is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Exercise Physiologist, and Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine.

Her research focuses on functional nutrition, hormonal regulation in premenopausal women, and exercise interventions during pregnancy. Recent work explores the menstrual cycle’s impact on athletic performance and metabolic approaches to optimize reproductive health.
