Katie Gemmill is an Assistant Professor of English at Vassar College, specializing in 18th-century and Romantic literature through a queer feminist lens. She joined Vassar in 2019 and holds a PhD from Columbia University (2017), with a focus on dialogue and print technologies in 18th-century literature. Her research explores intersections of gender, sexuality, and environmental studies. She teaches courses such as 'Romanticism and Queer Studies' and 'Gender Transgression in 18th-Century Fiction.'
