Katie Fittipaldi is an Instructor of Alexander Technique at the University of Rochester, teaching in the Dance Department and the Eastman School of Music. She holds a Master’s in Classical String Performance from the Irish World Music Centre, University of Limerick (Ireland), and a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Ithaca College.

Her research interests focus on applying the Alexander Technique to musicians, children, educators, and performers. She is certified by the Alexander Alliance School (Philadelphia) and AmSAT, and specializes in educational programs for primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions. Katie has led workshops at Eastman Summer Trombone Institute, New Directions Cello Festival, and various colleges including University of Buffalo and Nazareth College.
