Angela Rubin is a Lecturer in the Strings, Harp, & Guitar department at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. A dedicated violist and chamber musician, she holds a Master of Music degree from Eastman and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University, graduating with College and University Honors.
- Current Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) candidate at Eastman under Masumi Per Rostad
- Active performer with orchestras including the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and New World Symphony
Her research interests focus on Music Performance, Viola Performance, and Chamber Music, with a career highlights including principal violist roles at prestigious festivals like Brevard Music Center and Carnegie Hall performances.
