Dr. Katia Ferrar is a Senior Research Fellow in Cancer Wellness at Flinders University, affiliated with the College of Medicine and Public Health and the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute. She holds an adjunct position as Senior Lecturer at the University of South Australia. With over 20 years of clinical experience as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and 10 years of research expertise, her work focuses on physical activity’s role in improving outcomes for individuals with chronic health conditions, including cancer survivors, chronic pain patients, and those undergoing dialysis.
