Kathy Hagood

Kathy Hagood is a faculty member at Howard Payne University's School of Humanities, specializing in English literature and composition. She teaches courses such as Composition I and II, Women’s Studies, World Literature, Children’s Literature, and Development of Drama. Her passion for literature and writing stems from a deep belief in their transformative power, both personally and socially.

Her recommended readings include works by Ron Hansen, Arthur Miller, Sandra Cisneros, Leslie Marmon Silko, and M. Scott Momaday.
