Kathy Hafer

Kathy Hafer is a Professor of the Practice of Biology at Washington University in St. Louis. She teaches courses such as "Principles of Biology" and "Phage Hunters," a research-based laboratory class for first-year students. Her work involves isolating and characterizing bacteriophage viruses from St. Louis-area soil through collaboration with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI).
