Kathryn Schuller

Kathryn Schuller is a Lecturer in Biological Sciences at Flinders University, specializing in marine science, nutrition, and molecular biology. She has coordinated the Biochemistry topic for over 300 students annually and served in administrative roles such as Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning). Her research focuses on omega-3 fatty acid metabolism in aquaculture species and antimalarial drug development, utilizing molecular biology techniques.

• Teaching: Metabolic biochemistry (intermediary metabolism), protein structure/function relationships, enzymology, protein purification

She has supervised 8 postgraduate students as principal supervisor and 3 as co-supervisor. Awards include the Flinders University Vice Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching (2002) and an Australian Learning and Teaching Council Citation (2008).
