Kathryn Marie Fisher is an Associate Professor of International Security Studies at National Defense University, with prior teaching appointments at Ohio University and London School of Economics and Political Science. She holds a PhD in International Relations from LSE, MA in International Affairs from American University, and BA in Geography and French from University of Colorado.

Academic publications span critical security studies, counterterrorism analysis, and temporal theory applications. Key teaching areas include terrorism studies, strategic thought, and critical approaches to security. She serves on the Executive Board of the International Sociological Association's Research Committee on Armed Forces and Conflict Resolution.
