Kathryn Hacker Gessner

Dr. Kathryn Hacker Gessner is an Assistant Professor of Urology and Genetics at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She specializes in urologic oncology and runs a translational research lab focusing on genomic analysis of bladder and kidney tumors to improve patient outcomes. Her academic roles include faculty positions in both Urology and Genetics departments, with affiliations to the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
