Kathrine Rønning Tvinnereim

Kathrine Rønning Tvinnereim is a Lecturer at Queen Maud's College of Early Childhood Education (DMMH), specializing in pedagogy at the bachelor’s level. She is the course leader for Society, Religion, Life View, and Ethics (SRLE) in the second year of study for students in the Nature and Outdoor Life profile and the Art and Design profile. She supervises second-year students during internships in kindergartens and is affiliated with DMMH's Department for External Activities (FEI), acting as a supervisor/learning partner in the Regional Scheme for Competence Development in Kindergarten (REKOM) and the Competence Lift for Special Education and Inclusive Practice in Trøndelag. She also serves as a censor for Volda University College and Nord University.

Kathrine's research focuses on multicultural education, ethics in early childhood education, and inclusive practices. Her work explores communication and collaboration between kindergarten staff and migrant parents, ethical considerations in multicultural parent-teacher relations, and the role of student teamwork in leadership development. She has delivered academic lectures on topics such as "Adaptation in multicultural kindergarten" and "Subjectivity constructions in student team spaces," emphasizing professional judgment and meta-communication.

She has contributed to projects like "Educating Leaders for a World Not-Yet-Seen" and "Kindergarten Takeover," aiming to improve educational coherence. Her publications include a master's thesis on ethics in multicultural parent collaboration and articles on professional judgment and student teamwork.
