- Research Group Leader and Clinical Coordinator of the Neurobiobank
- Principal Investigator of four major research projects related to Parkinson’s disease
Her work emphasizes patient stratification via genetic architecture and biomarker discovery in patient biomaterials to enable cause-specific treatments. As Clinical Coordinator of the Neurobiobank Tübingen, she integrates clinical and biomarker research.
She leads projects including the MJFF-PPMI Study (prodromal/genetic cohorts), MJFF PRKN/PINK1 Consortium, GBA1 Consortium for Clinical Trials, and DZNE-DESCRIBE-PD (sporadic/GBA-PD/LRRK2-PD).
