Dr. Kathren Stehno is an Assistant Professor at Southwestern Christian University since 2019, specializing in Elementary/Early Childhood Education. Her academic background includes an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix (2011), an M.Ed. in School Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma (1995), and a B.A. in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Baptist University (1979).
Dr. Stehno's research focuses on teacher efficacy in trauma-responsive education and data literacy for school improvement. She actively contributes to professional organizations like OACTE, OK Rural Research Alliance, and OSRHE Literacy Committee.
