Kathlynn Smith is an Assistant Professor and Fast Track Coordinator in the Department of Nursing at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), where she has taught since 2013. Her academic background includes a DNP in Organizational Leadership from Graceland University (2019) and an MSN in Nursing Education from Oklahoma Baptist University (2012). Prior to UCO, she worked as an RN in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Oklahoma Heart Hospital and served as an Adjunct Faculty member at UCO (2008-11).

She has also contributed to curriculum development for vulnerable population care and professional leadership training.
