Dr Kathlyn Wilson is an Associate Professor in Enterprise & Entrepreneurship at the Hertfordshire Business School, University of Hertfordshire. She holds a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Ohio State University and is an Academic Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD). Her research focuses on assessment processes in organizations, particularly performance evaluation fairness and cross-cultural management. She has held tenured positions and visiting roles at institutions like Delaware State University and Florida International University.

Her research interests include conceptualizing job performance, cross-cultural management, and diversity impact assessments. She has conducted projects funded by entities like the Cabinet Office and Wellcome Connecting Science, addressing biases in appraisal systems and barriers for BAME and female researchers. She advises government bodies such as the Department for Work and Pensions and chairs the Chartered Association of Business Schools' Race Equality Action Group.
Dr Wilson has presented at international conferences including the Academy of Management and serves as an assessor for UN agencies. Her work explores language biases in performance evaluations and the experiences of minoritised ethnic groups in academic settings.
