Kathleen Ruscitto

Dr. Kathleen Ruscitto is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling with extensive experience as a Counselor Educator and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She brings over a decade of professional practice grounded in humanistic principles, emphasizing self-directed growth and meaningful learning environments for both students and clients.

Her academic training includes a B.A. from LaRoche University, an M.A. from Waynesburg University, and a Ph.D. from Walden University.

Dr. Ruscitto's research and professional focus center on recovery and wellness practices for mental health and substance use disorders, intersectional issues in counseling, and clinical supervision. She is committed to advancing best practices in behavioral health care through advocacy at both individual and community levels.
