Kathleen Mellahn is a Lecturer in Speech Pathology at La Trobe University, Australia, and a Graduate Researcher within the Centre of Research Excellence in Aphasia Recovery and Rehabilitation (Aphasia CRE). Her research focuses on improving access to care for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) populations with aphasia, particularly addressing language barriers and equity in stroke rehabilitation. She collaborates with Professor Miranda Rose and investigates clinical pathways, inpatient experiences, and translational research to enhance aphasia treatment accessibility.
