Dr. Marcella Carragher is a Senior Lecturer in Speech Pathology at La Trobe University and a Lead Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the NHMRC-funded Centre of Research Excellence in Aphasia Recovery and Rehabilitation. Her work focuses on aphasia therapy, healthcare communication barriers, and interventions to improve outcomes for individuals with post-stroke aphasia. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Ulster (2002-2006) and a PhD from the University of Manchester (2009-2012), investigating aphasia treatment outcomes.
