Kathleen McLaughlin is a Professor at the School of Education, Endicott College, with 20 years of faculty experience. She previously served as an elementary school teacher, reading specialist in public schools, educational evaluator at Franciscan Children Hospital, and Boston-area education consultant.
- Education: Doctor of Education (1982) and Master of Education in Reading (1975) from Boston University/Salem State College, Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (1973) from Salem State College
Her expertise spans literacy methods, multicultural children’s literature, brain-based learning, and poverty-related educational interventions. She has presented conference research on teacher-student relationships through storytelling and undergraduate research in education.
