Kathleen Lamp is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Arizona State University, specializing in the history of rhetoric with a focus on classical influences on public art and civic discourse. She holds a Ph.D. in Rhetorical Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an M.A. in the same field, and a B.A. in Communication and Classics from Randolph College.

She teaches courses on rhetorical theory, history of rhetoric, and writing for public engagement, reflecting her commitment to bridging classical studies with contemporary civic discourse.
