Dr. Jacob Bell is an Assistant Professor at the Department of History, Texas Tech University, specializing in Medieval History with a focus on marginalized groups, including enslaved peoples, women, and their roles in shaping the Middle Ages. His research bridges documentary, archaeological, and scientific evidence to explore themes of unfreedom, mobility, and cultural integration in the Medieval North Atlantic.
