Kathleen A. Galvin is a Professor of Anthropology and Director of The Africa Center at Colorado State University. She also serves as an Advising Faculty Member for the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology. Her work focuses on interdisciplinary social-ecological systems research in African and Asian drylands, addressing land use change, biodiversity conservation, food security, and climate change adaptations.
