Katheryne Harrell is an Associate Professor in University College and Academic Innovation & Strategic Initiatives (AIS) at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). She joined UTSA in Fall 2023, transitioning from the University of the Incarnate Word where she taught undergraduate anthropology courses. Her academic background includes a B.A. in Classical Archaeology from UT Austin, an M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Cincinnati, and a graduate certificate in Public Health from New Mexico State University.
Her professional focus integrates teaching and community health advocacy. She currently teaches honors courses and exploratory pathway programs in AIS.
