Katherine Sweet is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Flagler College's School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Department of Humanities. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in philosophy from Saint Louis University and a B.A. from the University of South Alabama. Previously, she served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Notre Dame's Center for Philosophy of Religion.
Her research specializes in epistemology, ethics, and philosophy of religion, with recent work focusing on the recognition and appreciation of value in intellectual virtue development. She teaches courses including Introduction to Philosophy, Virtue in Life, Text, and Film, and Logic I: Critical Thinking.
