Katherine Mills is a Professor at the Sydney Medical School and serves as the Director of Early Intervention and Treatment Research at The Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use. Her research focuses on the intersection of mental health, substance use disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), with a strong emphasis on clinical trials, translational research, and epidemiology. She leads major projects including randomised controlled trials for integrated cognitive-behavioral therapy in adolescents with co-occurring PTSD and substance use disorders.
