Katherine Kearney, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Cardiology. She specializes in adult congenital heart disease, advanced heart failure and transplantation, and pulmonary hypertension, focusing on their intersections.
Dr. Kearney earned her medical degree from the University of Sydney in Australia and completed residency and fellowships in cardiology, pulmonary hypertension, and advanced heart failure at St. Vincent's Hospital in Sydney. Additional training includes adult congenital heart disease fellowships at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (Sydney) and Toronto General Hospital (Canada). She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of New South Wales in Sydney.
