Katherine Jones

Katherine Jones, EdD, OTR/L, CLT-LANA, CWT, is an Assistant Professor, Program Director of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program, and Chair of the Department of Occupational Therapy at Methodist University. She teaches courses on pediatrics, teaching and learning, and occupation-based community programming.

• EdD in Adult Teaching and Learning from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences
• MA in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California
• BA in Music from the University of Portland

Dr. Jones’ research focuses on maternal mental health, lymphedema management, sensory self-regulation, and innovative occupational therapy curriculum design. She has 20 years of clinical experience across acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, outpatient, and school-based therapy settings, specializing in oncology and survivorship, adapted play, and psychosocial wellness.
