She holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford (2007) and a BA in Natural Sciences (Zoology) from the University of Cambridge (2002). Her research focuses on animal behavior, predator-prey dynamics, and conservation biology, with a particular emphasis on behavioral adaptations in birds and mesopredators. She also explores teaching methodologies in biosciences, emphasizing student-led learning and fieldwork preparation.
- Education: DPhil (University of Oxford, 2007), BA (University of Cambridge, 2002)
- Key Research Areas: Vigilance behavior in birds, mesopredator ecology, anti-predator strategies, and environmental enrichment for captive species.
Her publications span topics like nocturnality in mesopredators, human impacts on wildlife behavior, and group dynamics in prey species. She actively engages in academic outreach, presenting on teaching innovations such as using social media for problem-based learning and co-producing field trip resources with students.
