Katherine Florey serves as the Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Law at the UC Davis School of Law (King Hall). Her research focuses on private international law, federal Indian law, civil procedure, and public health law, emphasizing extraterritorial legal applications, jurisdictional theories, and tribal court authority. Her scholarship has influenced state and federal court rulings. Prior to joining UC Davis in 2007, she clerked for Judge William Fletcher of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and practiced law at Keker & Van Nest LLP.
