Adam Kurland is an Adjunct Professor at The Catholic University of America School of Law, with additional roles as a Guest Professor at Wake Forest University School of Law and teaching experience in Howard University’s South Africa program. His expertise spans Federal Criminal Law, Civil Rights Law, and Appellate Litigation, focusing on federal jurisdiction, constitutional law, and criminal procedure. He has litigated landmark cases in federal appellate courts, including co-counsel in United States v. Gardner, reversals in United States v. Rybicki and United States v. Glover, and representation of former DC Mayor Marion Barry.
