Katharine Round is a Lecturer (Teaching) in Ethnographic and Documentary Film at the Department of Anthropology, University College London (UCL). With over two decades of professional experience in creative non-fiction filmmaking, she has worked with prestigious institutions like Netflix, BBC, BFI, Arts Council England, and Creative Europe. Her film practice challenges documentary conventions through formal innovation and hybrid approaches.
- Co-founder of Disobedient Films (2014)
- Co-founder of Doc Heads (2009)
- Studio Lead on UCL's MA Ethnographic and Documentary Film
- Developer of the DocFiction pathway (launched 2022)
