Katharina Pallitsch is an Associate Professor in the Department of Organic Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry. Her research focuses on phosphonate-based enzyme inhibitors, enzymology, and biocatalysis, with contributions to understanding metabolic pathways in microbes and applications in molecular diagnostics. She leads projects on phosphonate catabolism and fluorinated rare sugars synthesis.
