Dr. Katerina Bodovski is a Professor of Education in the Department of Education Policy Studies at The Pennsylvania State University. Her work bridges sociology and education policy, focusing on how family environments and parental practices influence academic and non-academic outcomes through the lens of cultural and emotional capital.

Her research spans sociology of education, childhood studies, comparative international education, and educational inequality.
