Dr. Katelyn M. Duncan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Micron School of Materials Science and Engineering, Boise State University, where she joined in Spring 2022. She works with the Quantum DNA group's Ultrafast Spectroscopy Team, specializing in the partitioning behavior of synthetic organic solutes into model biological membranes using advanced spectroscopic and calorimetric techniques.
Her research bridges physical chemistry and biophysics, focusing on molecular interactions in biological systems. She holds a Ph.D. from Montana State University where she investigated membrane-solute interactions through time-resolved emission spectroscopy.
