Paul Cavanaugh

Dr. Paul Cavanaugh is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Boise State University's Micron School of Materials Science and Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Merced, where his dissertation focused on the photophysical properties of indium phosphide quantum dots.

His research explores nanomaterials synthesis, quantum dot characterization, and photophysical processes. Cavanaugh utilizes advanced spectroscopic techniques including ultrafast nonlinear spectroscopy and surface analysis methods.
