Kate W. Isaacs

Kate W. Isaacs is a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management, specializing in leadership development, innovation strategy, and systems thinking. She teaches courses like Discovering Your Leadership Signature and Distributed Leadership, and co-founded the Businesses for Inclusive Local Thriving Lab (BILT-Lab) in MIT Sloan Executive Education. Her research focuses on organizational design, stakeholder partnerships, and systemic change, emphasizing inclusive innovation and human thriving. She holds a PhD in Organization Studies from MIT Sloan, alongside degrees in technology policy and conscious evolution.

Dr. Isaacs serves as lead faculty for the Highest Ambition Leadership Institute (HALI), a 9-month executive leadership program, and hosts CEOs Leading Local, a peer learning network driving community impact. Her consulting work spans strategy development, culture change, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. She is a certified Shadow Work coach and trained in Internal Family Systems therapy, emphasizing strengths-based approaches to organizational and personal growth.
