Kate Mitchell is a Lecturer and doctoral candidate at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where she also serves as a Teaching Assistant in the LLM program. She is a Junior Fellow at Massey College, contributing to academic and research communities.
Her research focuses on developing legal frameworks to protect the rule of law in prisons, aligning with interests in Criminal Law, Human Rights, and Criminal Justice Reform. She aims to build skills to lead criminal justice reform through mentorship and scholarly networks.

Fluent in English, with some French and Spanish, her personal interests include reading, piano, and time with her pug.
