Kate Linnenberg is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Beloit College, specializing in the scholarship of teaching and learning with a focus on community-based learning (CBL). She teaches courses including Intro to Sociology, Social Statistics, Sociology of Sex & Gender, Families in Transition, Health/Medical Care & Society, and the Sociology Senior Capstone.

She has been recognized with the prestigious Underkofler Teaching Award for her pedagogical excellence in cultivating sociological imagination and connecting classroom learning to real-world social structures.
