Kate Gridley is a Research Fellow at the University of York's Social Policy Research Unit (SPRU), specializing in dementia care and family carer support. She holds an MRes from the University of York and a BA (Hons) from Newcastle University. Her work focuses on evaluating interventions for people with dementia, including life story work and specialist nursing support for carers. She leads projects like DETERMIND, examining quality of life inequalities in dementia, and collaborates on initiatives such as the Good Life with Dementia peer-led course.
